Hands of Hope is a community of ordinary people doing simple, beautiful things for others.
We show up for widows, single parents, and people living with physical or financial hardship — fixing what’s broken, lifting what’s heavy, and reminding people they’re not alone.
No drama. No guilt. No strings. Just love in action.
We’re starting small — and starting with hearts willing to help.
Hands of Hope is currently gathering volunteers so we can serve our community with love and care. Ready to learn more or join the Hands of Hope volunteer team? Click I Want to Help to get started.
(If you need help, please check back soon — we’ll be ready soon to lend a hand.)
What Hands of Hope Is (and Isn’t)
Hands of Hope is all about love in action — people helping people in the simple, beautiful ways that make life a little lighter.
We paint a wall, fix a step, share a meal, or just show up with a listening ear. It’s about community, compassion, and doing what we can with what we have.
Sometimes that means buying a little paint or picking up a part to fix a toilet — and that’s part of the kindness, too.
But we also know our limits — and that’s okay.
We’re not a financial aid program or a professional service.
We’re neighbors, not contractors. Friends, not therapists. A helping hand, not a handout.
When we come together, we do what Lainee always did — look for the need right in front of us, meet it with love, and trust God with the rest.
Hands of Hope Mission Statement
Hands of Hope is a gathering place for people who care — a space where kindness meets need, and community becomes family.
We serve the widowed, the elderly, the single parent, and anyone walking through hardship.
Our goal is simple: to share hope through action, to listen more than we speak, and to love without condition.
We believe that when we, as people, see outside of ourselves and come together to help one another, hearts heal, hope grows, and love does what it was always meant to do — change lives.
